Our Mission

Sparq connects innovators and entrepreneurs to the unique resources of the Innovation Quarter.

In addition to accessing iQ resources and anchor institutions, including Wake Forest School of Medicine, Sparq offers office hours with attorneys, accountants and marketing professionals. Sparq members will also be a part of Founded Communities with access to a network of over 1,100 individuals from 400 companies across the state of North Carolina.

Located on the second floor of the redeveloped Bailey Power Plant, Sparq features dynamic work and event space which provides members with co-working space, conference rooms, office suites and coffee bar.

iQ Healthtech Labs
iQ Healthtech Labs brings together the expertise of our anchor academic institutions like Wake Forest School of Medicine, combining with commercial and consumer-minded partners and leveraging the power of our health system partners to test, refine, scale and rapidly deploy healthtech solutions.

The objective of the Small Business Center Network is to help small businesses succeed by providing high quality, readily accessible assistance to prospective and existing business owners.
The Access Center for Equity + Success

The Access Center for Equity + Success helps minority-owned and woman-owned businesses thrive equitably through one-on-one consultations that providing these businesses with professional support
Wake Downtown

Wake Downtown, located in Innovation Quarter, is the home of Wake Forest University's newest Undergraduate programs: Engineering, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Discovery.
